Do you think protecting endangered species is upsetting the species of natural selection? why?
Protecting the endangered specieis may have an effect on natural selection but it will not be a major effect. This is because protection of endangered species entails protection from human activities rather than formulating or doing something to the gene pool of animals.
Human activities have shaped the environmen more that what we envisioned it to be in the past. Human actvities have increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, increased global temperatures, cut most forests, quarried mountains, and many more. This is what we are protecting the species are, from ourselves, as compared to protecting or meddling in their daily lives as the nature and eventually, natural selection will dictate it to be.
